These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the UK Neurodiversity Recognition Scheme website and participating in the scheme as an organisation or individual. By accessing the website or submitting an application, you agree to these terms
2. Eligibility
You may apply for recognition or accreditation if:

You are an individual aged 18 or over, or
-
You are authorised to apply on behalf of an organisation.
We reserve the right to decline applications that do not meet the scheme’s purpose or standards.
3. Application Process
To begin the process, you must complete the online application form. Once submitted, you will receive information about the next steps, including assessment requirements and timelines.
Submitting an application does not guarantee recognition or accreditation. All levels are awarded based on meeting the criteria set out for each pathway.
4. Fees and Payment
The fee for each level of recognition or accreditation is £49.

Fees are non-refundable once the assessment has begun.

Recognition or accreditation is valid for 12 months from the date of award.

Renewal requires a new application and fee.
Payments are processed securely through approved third-party providers. We do not store card details.
5. Use of Recognition
If you are awarded recognition or accreditation, you may:

Display the relevant badge or level on your website, email signature or promotional materials.

Refer to your recognition in professional or organisational communications.
You may not:

Alter the badge or branding.
-
Misrepresent your level, status or the scope of the scheme.

Use the badge after your recognition has expired.
We reserve the right to withdraw recognition if it is used inappropriately or if information provided during assessment is found to be inaccurate.
6. Responsibilities of Participants
By taking part in the scheme, you agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information.

Engage with the assessment process in good faith.

Notify us of any significant changes that may affect your recognition (e.g., organisational restructuring, role changes, or relevant concerns).

Communicate outcomes in a timely manner.

Handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update scheme criteria from time to time to reflect best practice in neuroinclusion.
7. Our Responsibilities
We will:

8. Website Use

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for your most recent application.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website or scheme constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
